F.A. Cup Draw and Preview
Liverpool get a shot at Cup revenge
Six-time FA Cup winners Liverpool play Manchester United, who have lifted the famous trophy on 11 occasions, in the showpiece tie of the fifth round draw.
League One side Brentford, who knocked out Premiership side Sunderland at the weekend, have a chance to add another top-flight scalp to their tally having been given an away tie at Charlton.
Colchester , the only other team from outside the top two divisions left in the competition, probably face an even tougher task as they must travel to meet the winners of Everton and Chelsea.

The Victor Chandler Chase which was scheduled to be run on the abandoned card at Cheltenham has been re-opened and will now take place at Sandown on Saturday February 4.
This rescheduling was made possible after a series of phone calls and conversations involving the sponsors VC Bet and RHT who are responsible for racing at both tracks.
VC Bet’s PR Manager Neal Wilkins commented “Over the years the Victor Chandler Chase has been an integral part of the running plans for trainers with Cheltenham Festival aspirants and we were determined to keep the race in the Racing Calendar this year. Fortunately ToteSport who are sponsoring next Saturday were prepared in the interests of racing to accept a conflict of interests and the racing industry should be indebted to them for their assistance in allowing the Victor Chandler Chase to go ahead on Saturday.
Naturally all ante-post wagers on last Saturday’s abandoned race are null and void and our book will be opened after the 5-day declarations at mid-day on Monday. Unfortunately because of Channel 4 scheduling the Victor Chandler Chase will not be shown live on terrestrial television”
He continued “After many phone calls and much chasing around, the Victor Chandler Chase will be run at Sandown next Saturday. We are obviously very disappointed in the manner the meeting was abandoned this morning but delighted that it will take place next Saturday.”
Saturday's meeting at Cheltenham was finally called off just before 10am when temperatures were still below freezing and the wind chill lower than minus three.

Celebrity Big Brother Final Update
After three weeks of backstabbing, in-fighting and cross-dressing, Celebrity Big Brother 4 is reaching its climax. The public must now choose between the six remaining contestants and decide who should be the last to leave the house. The bookies are currently predicting that 'fake' celebrity Chantelle will win this year's show, but as we've seen in previous series, everything can change in the last few days.

Here are our thoughts on this weekend's televised games:
Cheltenham v Newcastle
Newcastle's injury woes continue, but both Parker and Emre have an outside chance of featuring in this game. With Owen out, it will be up to Shearer to carry the goal threat for a side that have scored three goals in their last six matches. The Magpies main concern is their shaky defence, having conceded eight goals in the same six fixtures. With Carr (injured) and Babayaro unavailable (African Nations), Souness is struggling for options. John Ward's Cheltenham are a well organised side, who have a good scoring record at Whaddon Road this season. Watch out for Odejayi, he's been excellent this season and could mark his final game for the Robins (moving to Plymouth) with a goal. Sporting Index are predicting a 1.1 to 1.3 goal victory for Newcastle. Anything but an away win could seal Souness's fate.
Bolton v Arsenal
With both sides missing key players, this looks like being a scrappy affair. Bolton will be without Okocha, Diouf and Jaidi (African Nations), but still have a good chance against the out of form visitors. The strike partnership of Davies and Borghetti could be the key factor in this game. If they can unsettle Arsenal's makeshift back four, as Everton did last weekend, a home win may be on the cards. The Gunners will be without the injured Henry, Campbell and Lauren, so the performance of Van Persie will be crucial. Sporting Index have made Arsenal slight favourites, going for a 0.1 to 0.3 goal victory for the away side.
Wolves v Man Utd
United's injury crisis deepens, with Giggs unavailable on Sunday. Nevertheless, their threadbare midfield performed well against Blackburn in midweek. Ronaldo is back after suspension and expected to start. United have scored 12 goals in their last 5 matches, and with Ferguson likely to continue with Saha, Rooney and Van Nistelrooy up front, there could be plenty of goals at Molineux. Wolves have been characteristically inconsistent this season, but should be a tough proposition at home. Strikers Cort, Miller and new signing Frankowski all possess the ability to expose any gaps in the visitors' defence, but the Championship side are unlikely to out-score their opponents. Sporting Index have priced up United to win, predicting a 1.1 to 1.3 goal victory.
Portsmouth v Liverpool
Pompey's performance at Birmingham last week has raised serious questions about their chances of playing Premiership football next season. Going on current form, it's unlikely that they'll progress to the 5th Round of the FA Cup either. Mwaruwari and Lua Lua will be missing (African Nations) and Pamarot is injured for the home side. Not surprisingly, Sporting Index has priced up Liverpool as favourites, predicting a 0.9 to 1.1 goal victory. Even with Morientes and Cisse struggling for goals, ex-Saints striker Crouch should have too much quality for Portsmouth's generous defence.

PITTSBURGH V SEATTLE – STEELERS NOW FAVOURED AT -4
Another week, another Super Bowl favorite. After the demise of Indy, it was Denver who took over the poisoned chalice of favouritism but that was short-lived, and the team that beat both the Colts and the Broncos are now favoured at 5/9 straight up. Pittsburgh, who were as big as 50/1 after Week 13, will now face Seattle in Super Bowl XL after becoming the first sixth seed to reach the big game. We make Pittsburgh 4-point favorites after winning on the road against the first, second and third seeds in their Conference. Seattle, who were available at 40/1 (Pittsburgh 16/1) pre-season, are in their first Super Bowl after easily disposing a lack-lustre Carolina. The total is set at 47 here at bet365.
If anything, the Super Bowl line is based on the belief that the AFC is vastly superior to the NFC. Pittsburgh, a No.6 seed, is -4 against Seattle, the NFC’s top seed. That belief is backed up by looking at the teams that Pittsburgh have beaten in recent weeks – Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Denver – and they would have won all three by double-digits if it wasn’t for a Jerome Bettis fumble near the goal line against Indy.
In comparison, Seattle have had a relatively easy time of it getting to the Super Bowl, handing out a 20-10 the Redskins in the divisional round, and then blowing out the Carolina Panthers 34-14 in the NFC Championship Game. And neither the Redskins (little offence) nor the Panthers (too many injuries) brought anything close to their ‘A’ game against the Seahawks.
The Steelers also became the second team in history to win three consecutive playoff games on the road to land in the Super Bowl. Yes the Seahawks are extremely tough at home, but where were Seattle’s big road wins? During the regular season, the Seahawks’ road wins came against the Rams, 49ers, Cardinals, Titans and an injury-depleted Eagles club. They struggled to beat the 49ers and the Titans, and they might struggle again at Ford Field in Detroit on February 5th (live ‘In-play’ betting here at bet365).
BETTORS RIDING STEELERS BUS TO VICTORY AT -4

Against Denver, he looked much more comfortable when completing 13-of-17 passes for 180 yards and two TD’s in the first half, before finishing the job in the fourth quarter with a four-yard TD. That was his third striking performance in the playoffs. He’s 11/4 favorite to pick up the Super Bowl MVP award, ahead of his Seattle counterpart Matt Hasselback, and the league MVP Shaun Alexander at 3/1.

It might be folly to oppose Tiger this week in one of his favourite tournaments (form figures of 3-1-2-4-5-1-10-1), but we have to take his preparation on trust as he hasn’t played competitive golf for over a month, and there must be plenty of each way value elsewhere. The main dangers according to our betting appear to be Phil Mickelson (9/1), but he’ll have to drive a lot better than he did last week, while Sergio Garcia’s (14/1) putting woes continue to make him a risky proposition. Instead, the 18/1 on Luke Donald looks an each-way steal (19/1 EWO). His record here is impressive – 7th, 2nd and 2nd – and he’ll start this campaign with a great deal of confidence after shooting a final round 64 to win last month’s Target World Challenge.
Also of interest this week, is last week’s runner-up, Jesper Parnevik, at a particularly generous bet365 price of 66/1. That was a welcome return to form for the Swede, after a poor 2005 by his standards, and he’s comfortable playing this course judged on his third here to Woods in 2004, and a runner-up spot in 1997. The final pick goes to Arron Oberholser, now that the Tour has reached his home state of California. He has finishes of 4th and 6th in two of three visits to Torrey Pines, and at next month’s event at Pebble Beach. In fact, he has a top-10 strike rate of 40% on the PGA Tour in California, which makes our 66/1 look very attractive (40/1 in a place!).
Of course, Tiger won’t have to be 100% to win this week, and I wouldn’t put anyone off backing him at 13/5 in our ‘Enhanced Win Only’ market, or wait until the event goes in-running, when he’ll probably drift to a bigger price on our ‘In-Play Console’ at some stage.

HORSE RACING PREVIEW
7/2 ALBUHERA BACKED FOR CHANDLER
This weekend’s racing is under threat from the freezing temperatures, but Cheltenham are ‘60-40’ at the time of writing, so hopefully we’ll get to see Saturday’s star-studded card, and in particular the Victor Chandler Chase (2.10). Betting has really heated up over the last few days, and Albuhera, in particular, has been the subject of strong support. He’s now 7/2 favourite (from 11/2), and this prolific hurdler (who has taken really well to fences his term) should be involved at the finish. However, his lack of experience could find him out in this hot contest, and he doesn’t look good value now. Problem is most of his opponents have question marks against them too. Second favourite, Dempsey, is almost certainly better going right-handed, while the progressive Town Crier ran poorly on his only previous visit to the track.
PUT FAITH IN TYSOU AT 11/1
There are no such concerns about Tysou, who rates excellent each-way value at bet365’s 11/1 (could be single figures on the day). He’s already shown he can make light work of the stiff track and fences by winning over course and distance last month, one of several creditable runs at Cheltenham, including a fourth at last year’s Festival. There was also a lot to like about his latest third behind Dempsey at Sandown and, on 4lb better terms, he’s fancied to turn the tables on the winner back at his favourite track. The race is one of four to be screened live from the track by Channel 4, which means we can also look forward a free bet (up to £25) on the next live race, should the selection win at 4/1 or bigger.

HARALD IS KING AT 6/1
Channel 4 are also showing the Skybet Chase from Southwell (2.25), where King Harald is fancied to get his career back on track (currently 6/1) – Channel 4 Offer applies. Things haven’t really gone his way since winning at last year’s Festival, as he had a really hard race on his reappearance at Cheltenham, and would have been feeling the effects of that when disappointing in the Hennessy. Since then, a bout of ringworm has kept him off the track, but he has been working well at home, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him bounce back to his best here. In an open year, he could also be an outside bet for this year’s Gold Cup – he’s currently a massive 50/1 with bet365 for that race, and those odds will collapse should he win well on Saturday.
Skybet Chase Pick: King Harald @ 6/1 (Gold Cup ante post @ 50/1)
BACK GOLD FOR GLORY AT 11/1
There should also be plenty of Gold Cup clues to be gleaned from the Cotswold Chase (3.20), to be run on the same card as the Victor Chandler. A good performance from any of the principals will see their odds tumbling for the big race in March, and Martin Pipe is sure to have Celestial Gold primed for his first run back since finishing seventh in last year’s GC. A couple of early mistakes soon sealed his fate there, but he was probably ‘over the top’ for the season after magnificent wins in the Paddy Power and Hennessy. This season, his campaign has been geared towards the big one in March, but he goes well fresh so we can back him here with confidence (and have a few quid at 11/1 ante post). NFL Conference Championships Preview
There are now just four teams vying for a place in Super Bowl XL.
Who will make it?

Seattle have the best record in the NFC, and with home advantage they go into this game as favourites. Sporting Index think this will be a tight game though, predicting a 3 to 5 points victory for the Sea Hawks. The home sides Running Back, Shaun Alexander, is their biggest weapon, but even the NFL's MVP could find it tough going against the Panther's defence.
Carolina certainly have the potential to win this game, despite it being their third consecutive game on the road. The recent loss of Running Back DeShaun Foster to injury is not a huge blow, as replacement Nick Goings is an adequate stand-in.
The key to success for the Panthers will be getting the ball to Wide Receiver Steve Smith. He is quite simply unplayable, as he showed against Chicago last weekend. However, if Seattle can pressurise the Carolina Quarter Back, Smith may not see enough of the ball to win this one.

Here are our thoughts on this weekend's big games:
Everton v Arsenal
The Toffees are unbeaten in five games, but go into this one without Yobo (African Nations), the backbone of their shaky defence. Furthermore, the departure of Bent leaves them with very few attacking options should Beattie find it tough going up front on his own. They'll need Cahill and Osman at their best if they are to trouble Arsenal's makeshift back four.
For the Gunners, Toure (African Nations), Campbell and Cole (both injured) will be missing, whilst Cygan is rated as doubtful. Obviously, last weeks win against Boro is a huge confidence booster and they're worthy favourites again at Goodison.
Sporting Index is predicting a 0.7 to 0.9 goal victory for the visitors, which probably reflects their weaker form on the road.
WBA v Sunderland
It's been a mixed week for West Brom, with a great result at Wigan followed by the FA Cup defeat to Reading. The key to Premiership survival lies with their home form, where they are unbeaten in their last four games.
By contrast, visitors Sunderland have picked up just three points away from home this season – the solitary away win at Boro in September. The Black Cats spirited performance against Chelsea last week should perhaps be taken with a pinch of salt. Its difficult to see them raising their game to a similar level for this fixture.
Not surprisingly, Sporting Index has made West Brom favourites to win, predicting a 0.6 to 0.8 goal victory.
Chelsea v Charlton
Chelsea's only home defeat this season came against Charlton in the Carling Cup, but it's difficult to see the visitors getting anything positive this time. Having kept three clean sheets in the last 20 matches, the Addicks couldn't be visiting Stamford Bridge at a worse time. Even their new 'Bent double' partnership should struggle to make an impact against the Blues defence.
With Murphy looking for a transfer and an ever changing first XI, it could be a nerve-wracking second half of the season for Charlton.
Chelsea are clear favourites, priced up to win by 1.7 to 1.9 goals. For Chelsea, Drogba (African Nations) Essien (injured) and Bridge (on loan) will be missing, but they probably won't be missed. With Crespo in form, it could be a busy day for Myhre.
Man Utd v Liverpool
United's defeat to Man City was a surprise, but it's fair to say that the Red Devils are a team in decline. Ferguson's decision to play new boy Evra in that match was baffling and it will be interesting to see if he retains his place. Ronaldo is suspended for this game, but current form considered that may not necessarily be a bad thing. Rooney returns after suspension and his performance will be a key factor in deciding the outcome of this game.
Sporting Index think this will be a tight match and have priced up United to win by 0.1 to 0.3 goals. With Liverpool undefeated in 12 games, its fair to say that Rafa's signings and tactics are paying off. Motivated by the chance to leapfrog United in the league, they should be confident of getting at least a point at Old Trafford.
